Cassina Maralunga sofa by Vico Magistretti

The Cassina Maralunga 2-seater sofa is a design by Vico Magistretti. Upholstery is a subtle black and brown velvet stripe and in great vintage condition with minor signs of wear. It is said that one day Vico Magistretti was playing with a pack of cigarettes and thinking about what kind of new sofa he would design. Opening and closing the packaging gave him a unique idea: an adjustable backrest. Each handrail can be individually “folded” into a 90 degree angle, just like the cigarette pack.
